Thai Baht

The baht (Thai: บาท, sign: ฿; code: THB) is the currency of Thailand. It is subdivided into 100 (สตางค์). The issuance of currency is the responsibility of the Bank of Thailand.

History
The currency was originally known as the tical; this name was used in the English language text on banknotes until 1925. However, the name baht was established as the Thai name by the 19th century. Both tical and baht were originally units of weight, and coins were issued in both silver and gold denominated by their weight in baht and its fractions and multiples.

Travel Wonders

Ever since I was a little girl, my parents will take my sister and me to trips all around France for the holidays. Growing up we went to Taiwan to visit relatives, this was our first trip outside of the country and by airplanes ! The years went by and every year we would go travel to some new places in France or in Europe or even other continents.

These are the best memories I have of my life : being on holidays, traveling with my family, discovering all these new places the world has to offer. Unfortunately, childhood memories often just stay memories, we may have pictures (it was still paper pictures when I was young :) ) to remember them but I must admit that I also forgot a lot about the places, the food, the feelings, etc... That is why I am not writing this blog, to be able to share and remember more of all the places I have the pleasure and chance to go to !

I wish one day to be able to have seen the 7 Wonders of the World and much more, all different places in the world have their own Wonders, you just have to go and find it for yourself ! I hope this digital place will allow you to travel around the world as well !
